About the Artist.


I look at art from an anthropological view; humanity is amazing, but it is in the simple, everyday rituals we create to connect with one another that drives my work; breaking bread together, soothing one another, caring for the sick, finding ways to look after each other- i believe it’s the very meaning of life; not what we have to strive for, but quite simply what we are innately capable of. 

My work aims not necessarily to capture these threads that bind us together, but to show appreciation for them; to assure others that knowing of these little moments, experiencing them and seeing them in your daily life, is  something to cherish. 

I use a wide variety of mediums, including written word, to bring this idea to fruition. 

I also specialise in realistic portraiture through several mediums- most notably oil paints and any digital equipment that allows me to recreate an oil-like texture.
