you guys wanna go get lunch? (2020) I started exploring using multiple poses of the same character and having them blend and seem comfortable with everyday life, much like kondakov's works. this piece also utilises alice's appearance as a way to add numerous bursts of colours to the photo and also serves to draw out the very few instances of bright, harmonious colours that were also present in the studio at the time. untitled (2020) photo taken by me at bracklesham bay. one summers day (2020) photo taken by me at hogsmill river. this piece is probably my favourite of the entire series- the character, chihiro, is from my favourite film, spirited away. i knew after i watched this film for the first time that i wanted to be an artist, and combining that with a location at my arts university was a beautiful, emotional experience. cultured (2020) photo taken by me at the tate.
